The couple asked us to assist them in joining two apartments they own at the end of a wing of the building. The apartment has views of the Hudson River. We removed the wall between the two apartments and luckily the floors and ceiling aligned. We removed the wood parquet flooring in the older apartment and discovered the subfloor was rotten so we replaced much of the subfloor and installed a new wood floor in the Front Entry, the Dining Room, the Family Room, part of the Hallway, the Guest Bathroom, the Guest Bedroom and the Kitchen. We created sliding doors so, if required, the two halves of the apartments could be separated. We reconfigured the Guest Bathroom and replaced many of the plaster crown moldings to match the existing.

After we completed the architectural work, the owners painted each room in brilliant colors.
