The owner had difficulties with the façade of these two buildings. The stucco on the North façade was peeling off, there were structural cracks on all of the facades, the roof parapet and the brick around the chimney were all deteriorating. We designed the structural cracked brick to be repaired using Simpson Tie Stainless Steel ¼” x 40” helical ties set 2 ½” deep in the brick mortar, see .
