A privately owned mechanical equipment company is expanding their existing one-story, 40,000 sq.ft. facility into a 3-story, 120,000 sq. ft. facility. The project is going to promote the efficiency of the company in providing service to the New York Metropolitan area. The building will be energy efficient. The electric for the building will be provided by photo-voltaic solar panels on the roof. New native trees and undergrowth are being planted in the parking lot and along the northern border of the property to enhance the beauty of the property. The use of native plants promotes local pollinator and bird populations that are essential to the local ecosystems that make New York so beautiful.
